Bearings with incremental angle measuring system MI

General

Through the purely inductive measuring system, maximum system accuracies smaller than +/- 2μm discharge length can be realised. The measuring system consists of a solid measure with incremental code as well as a measuring head with a sensor and the analogue-digital evaluation electronics. Depending on the requirements, a single or multi-head scanner can be used, whereby the measuring ring is mounted directly on the bearing inner ring. The integrated measuring systems are available for the sizes 150 to 650. For some sizes, the overall height is greater than for the standard bearing without measuring system (details in the product tables). Here the measuring head is integrated in the adjacent construction or using the distance plate directly on the outer ring. The distance plate must be provided by the customer.

Recommendation distance plates for incremental measuring heads:

A distance plate is required if you want to attach incremental measuring heads directly to the bearing outer ring. M4 threads are already present in the bearing outer ring at a distance of 51mm. These are suitable for absolute measuring heads as well as for adapting a distance plate, which can be used for incremental measuring heads via the M3 thread at a distance of 16mm. In order for an incremental measuring head to be able to measure at the correct position, the two distances DP-L and DP-H must be adapted using such a distance plate, for example.
