Recommended fits for housing
General
The accuracy of the fits and the geometrically correct design of all connecting parts have a direct effect on the running accuracy and the dynamic properties of the bearing and the table.
Please observe the construction notes in the general catalogue chapter.
The actual dimension of the bearing outer diameter can be found the inspection report enclosed with the bearing.
Outer ring stationary
Housing for NGX series is to be designed with a clearance fit according to G7 or without centring.
Outer ring rotates
Housings for the NGX-SBI series are to be designed according to the table below.
For special requirements, the clearance fit must be further restricted within the specified tolerance classes:
■ High accuracy requirements:
If maximum accuracy requirements are specified, the clearance fit 0 should be aimed for. Otherwise the clearance fit can add itself to the bearing radial runout.
■ High dynamic properties:
At higher speeds and longer duty cycles, an press fit of 0.005 mm must not be exceeded.
